我是青藏高原特有的物种
耐饥饿、耐干渴、耐缺氧、耐高寒
我栖息在人迹罕至的地方
那是生命极限地带
再向上则是无生命的雪山
夏天啃草 冬天舔雪
靠稀疏的地衣维持生命
靠不丰富的寒草和树叶撑过每一天
还要时刻提防野狼的突袭
还要保护弱小的同伴
我活得很艰难很艰难
但责任使我遇到猛兽殊死抵抗
哪怕寡不敌众壮烈归天
哦，你是在向我举起猎枪吗
难道你不觉得我的生命可怜
我的种群已经为数不多
难道把我杀光就能满足你的贪婪
放下你的猎枪吧，人类
否则，你将失去一切生存伙伴
只剩下孤零零的你自己
那将是多么孤单

For The Existence Partners of Human Beings -- Wild Yak

The endemic species of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is me,
Anti- hunger, anti-thirst, anti-anoxia, and anti-cold I can be.
I live in the area which only a few people tread occasionally,
That is the ultimate of life mercilessly.
There stand the snow-capped mountains without life above,
I live on the grass and snow in summer and winter as I rove.
I depend on the sparse lichen to sustain life for surviving,
Every day I graze as much grass and leaves as I’m finding.
But time to time beware of the wolf’s attack I should be,
To protect the weaker calves the responsibility depends on me!
I live a very tough life indeed, indeed,
But, I desperately resist the fierce animal in need!
Even if I will die in the uneven struggle hopelessly,
Oh, it is you carrying a shotgun to aim at me viciously?
Don't you think my fate is so poor on the edge of extinction?
My low population sharply declines in the destruction.
Killing all my species can meet your greed actually?
Man, please put down your gun, put it down truly!
Otherwise, you will lose every partner of coexistence,
In the world there is only you alone in existence,
You will be so isolated, desolate, and lonely!
