我呀 是宝贝，一个甜蜜宝贝

身型修长，拖着一条长尾 

          背上有五道硬鳞 形似纺锤

          我是稀有物种，活着的化石

          我的祖先与恐龙同辈

          我诞生于中国峡谷清澈的溪流，

          闯荡于大海深蓝的碧水。

          由于思念伟大的长江妈妈，

          定期洄游，向出生地回归， 

          我们来了，成群结队。

          可是 可是我亲爱的长江妈妈，

          您的江水不再像乳汁般甜美。

          泥汤般浑浊 鱼虾无法生存，

          还被安设了许多渔网和水闸，

          回家，使我归心似箭，无怨无悔。

          人们啊 请收起渔网 放开水闸

          让长江妈妈，恢复秀美。

          请像对待大熊猫一样善待中华鲟，

          我将感激涕零 欣赏你的行为，

          我如此深深地爱你，中国！

Chinese Sturgeons’ Call

         I am such a sweet, sweet thing with a long tail,

         With a fusiform shape and five line hard scales,

         I am one of the rarest species, a living fossil

         My ancestors had the same long history as dinosaurs.

         Born in China, a transparent ravine stream,

         Roaming in the sea, a vast blue water,

         I certainly migrate to my birth place with my team,  

         For the reason I love the grand Yangtze River.

         But the water become so muddy,

         No shrimps and small fish exist,

         Many nets and sluices stop me, mummy,

         Eagerness for home is so strongest.

         Please remove the nets, sluices and make the water clear,

         Please protect me the same as the giant panda,

         I will express my gratitude and appreciation with tear,

         It is no other than I love you so much China.
