The Psalm of Grasshoppers

When the cicadas’ chorus reaches the coda,

The grasshoppers join the cantata,

The melody of the pastoral is so interesting,

All birds stop singing and keep listening.

Yes, in singing songs, grasshoppers take the lead,

In catching insects, they are brave in the mead--

From hedge to hedge, they recite the hymn of the nature,

From garden to garden, they sing the Aria of the future.

Chirp, chirp, and their tunes are not shrill,

But clear and melodious from hill to hill,

Their songs are the poetry of earth, and give us pleasure,

Their songs are the sonata of nature, and let us rapture.

But they are nearly extinct by the agricultural chemical,

The summer becomes terribly silent and abnormal,

拯救这些音乐家，避免他们全部消亡……
