Where Have All the Children Gone?
说天下

—For the 165 children killed at Minab Primary School, Hormozgan, Iran on February 28, 2026

Where have all the children gone?

They walked to school with smiles at dawn,

with hearts so pure, with dreams so bright,

to chase the spring and warm sunlight.

Where have all the children gone?

The warplanes roared, the sky was torn;

their fragile frames turned into dust,

their precious lives turned into mist.

Where have all the children gone?

They sleep beneath the schoolyard lawn;

one hundred sixty-five little graves,

one hundred sixty-five families in grief.

Where have all the children gone?

They bloomed as flowers, red and strong,

through every age, across the earth,

to cry out against this brutal curse.

What guilt have these young souls to bear?

Their lives cut short, their grief laid bare.

When will this endless cycle cease?

When will our world find lasting peace?

May all mankind as one unite,

and live in peace, endless and bright.
